Susan Sluys is an
award-winning photographer
living and working on the NSW South Coast.
She has a photography studio in Bomaderry,
and also does location work in and around
the Nowra area.
Sue specialises in photographing
people but lists photographing newborn babies
and children as her greatest love.
‘There is nothing like capturing
the unaffected joy in children, they bear
their souls without a single thought…they
are so natural. Sometimes as adults
we tend to lose the ability to be completely
ourselves. One of my favourite verses
says it all’
“Cry
during movies, swing as high as you can
on a swingset, by moonlight, take moonbaths,
giggle with children, listen to old people,
build a fort with blankets, get wet, hug
trees, write love letters…” SARK

the inner child – no matter what age the
person I am photographing.’
